New York, New York

The main point of us going to New York was to get married but apart from sorting out the licence and checking the venue was OK we did have some time for sightseeing. We were staying at the Royalton, a "boutique" hotel which was designed by Phillipe Starck, very cool and trendy. The best feature was the bathroom with a 5' bath tub, lots of fun.

We went to Central Park to see what was going on - being unseasonably warm, it was packed. There was a roller blade park, well I just came to the conclusion they don't care what they look like in New York!

We went to check out the Lake at Hernshead where we were getting married—it was all lovely so we could relax!

We didn’t have long in New York and soon we were leaving the madness for the tranquillity of the Pennsylvania countryside.
